This Canada-based platform is an Artificial Intelligence Operating System for Medical Imaging, designed to enhance physician workflow by seamlessly integrating state-of-the-art AI models for research and diagnostics with existing PACS. Designed and developed by Nuxify, our work delivered a comprehensive system featuring secure and scalable architecture, a seamless PACS integration layer, an enhanced viewer and browser, dedicated portals for clinicians and researchers, and the infrastructure to test and deploy custom models—all within a unified application suite.

The Challenge

Medical imaging generates vast amounts of data, yet integrating modern AI diagnostics into existing hospital infrastructure remains a major bottleneck. Most healthcare institutions rely on legacy PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) that are not designed to communicate with cutting-edge AI models. This creates a fragmented workflow where physicians have to jump between different tools, leading to clinical inefficiency, slower diagnostic times, and missed opportunities to leverage AI-driven research in real-time patient care.

The Solution

Nuxify engineered a unified AI Operating System that acts as a bridge between legacy medical infrastructure and modern machine learning models. We developed a seamless integration layer that allows state-of-the-art AI to work directly within existing PACS workflows, eliminating the need for fragmented systems. Our team built a custom, enhanced viewer and browser for high-resolution image analysis, along with dedicated portals for both clinicians and researchers. By providing a secure, scalable architecture to test and deploy custom models, we enabled healthcare institutions to turn their imaging data into actionable, AI-assisted insights without disrupting their established clinical routines.
