A NFT-based Ticketing Platform on Polygon Blockchain

For a Mastercard-sponsored event, this platform manages ticket sales using NFT technology, eliminating ticket scalping, verifying ownership on the blockchain, and enabling listing of unused tickets on NFT marketplaces as digital collectibles. Nuxify developed smart contracts for ticket management, APIs to connect the contracts with client applications, contract listeners to index and track events, and a web-based dApp that allows users to log in with blockchain wallets and redeem their tickets.

The Challenge

The event organizers wanted to modernize ticketing by addressing fraud, scalping, and lack of transparency in traditional systems. The platform needed to: - Guarantee ticket authenticity and ownership - Prevent secondary market exploitation - Allow unused tickets to retain value as digital collectibles - Provide a simple, secure user experience for non-technical attendees

The Solution

Nuxify built NFT-based smart contracts on Polygon to manage ticket issuance and transfers. We developed APIs to connect contracts with client applications, implemented event listeners for real-time indexing, and created a web-based dApp where users could log in with blockchain wallets to securely purchase and redeem tickets.
